Tapeline is a trading journal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. Plain language, no surprises.
Account: your email and display name. Your journal: the trades, notes, emotions, mistakes, confluences, screenshots, and day summaries you log. Messaging: if you connect Telegram, your chat ID and the messages you send the bot. Usage: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
To build your journal and analytics, send the reminders and replies you ask for, process your subscription, and keep the service secure. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
Your data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database and file storage, hosted on Vercel). Screenshots sit in a private bucket served only through short-lived signed links — there are no public URLs. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is row-scoped so you only ever see your own.
Only the processors that make the product work: Supabase (database/storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Telegram (the messaging channel you opt into), and Anthropic (to help structure your trade notes). Each handles data only to provide their service. We never sell or rent your information.
You can view, edit, export, or delete your entries any time from the app. Want your whole account erased? Email us and we'll remove it. Disconnect Telegram whenever you like from Settings.
We keep your journal while your account is active. When you delete an entry it's gone; when you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems (backups age out on a rolling basis).
